This high quality Test Lead Set has been designed with the automotive engineer in mind. Each kit comprises of:-

A pair of double insulated silicone test leads one end terminating in a straight fixed shrouded plug, the other in a right angled plug, both compatible with all standard 4mm instrument sockets.

A pair of large fully insulated crocodile clips with a wide jaw opening, ideal for battery terminals or Anderson clip connections.

A pair if Cable piercers for intrusive measurement taking, ideal for when back probing is not an option.

A pair of slim back probing probes, these incorporate a 'spring steel' prod which allows greater flexibility and less damage when attempting to override the rubber seal on some connectors.

The inset picture shows how the silicone leads can withstand high temperature, it can also withstand the heat of such things as hot manifolds and soldering iron tips.

A pair of slim back probing probes, these incorporate a 'spring steel' prod which allows greater flexibility and less damage when attempting to override the rubber seal on some connectors.

These probes are compatible with any of the Silvertronic test leads see page 7 for test lead options. They are also replacement parts for the Automotive Test Lead Set 129393.

This kit comprises of:-

1 Red and 1 Black Cable assembly utilising double insulated silicone cable, the inner skin being of a bright contrasting colour than that of the outer, this acts as a wear indicator.

One end of the lead is terminated in a 'Bed of Nails' crocodile clip which also has a single cable piercing spike within the jaw configuration.

The other end is made up of a 4mm cable socket which is capable of accepting all standard 4mm plugs whether shrouded or unshrouded.

Many autoelectricians rely on the fuse within the multimeter, which when it blows means that the meter has to be taken apart and a new fuse inserted, if this is in a break down scenario, Murphys law states that it will be dark and it will be raining.

This kit will remove the need to continue with such practices, the crocodile clip simply unscrews and allows a new fuse to be inserted with speed and convenience.

It should be noted that if the fuse blows and you do not have another to hand the meter can still be used.

Each Croc clip fitted with 10 Amp 600 Volt fuse as standard

As with the Crocodile clips this kit allows simply and convenient fuse replacement without the need to dismantle the Multimeter.

This kit how ever has a 4mm socket at both ends which allows the user to use stadard 4mm leads and a variety of prods hooks and clips to used in the safe knowledge that each will be protected by the fuse.

It should also be noted that if the fuse blows, and you do not have another to hand the meter can still be used.

Each link fitted with a 10Amp 600Volt fuse as standard.

These standard cable piercers are ideal for intrusive measurement taking when back probing is not practicable or desired.

Each piercer has a wedge shaped front for ease of insertion.

These extended cable piercers have the same uses as the standard but have a longer shaft for the more inexcessable areas needed to be tested.

Please note that this product does not have the wedge shaped head making it easier to gain access into very thin apertures.

This unique kit has been designed to be used with the ever popular 'Powerprobe' Circuit Testing Devices.

Compatible with both I and II versions.

Simply unscrew the 'Powerprobe' tip and screw in the double insulated silicone extension lead.

You are now able to use any one of the accessories supplied as standard.
